About

This blog was started by me, Lisa Zahiya, a dance teacher and performer.  At the end of 2010, I was very focused on my business, but wanted to devote more time and energy to my personal dance practice.

In this blog post, I explain my decision to practice everyday in 2011. Lots of folks were excited to do the same, so I created this blog where we can track our practice and support each other.

  2. Hi Lisa
You inspired me at Bellypalooza and you continue to do so. I just wanted to let you know that I have been practicing every day this week, yeah me! This morning I realized I have to practice for myself too besides class. So that means I resolve to dance to whatever I feel that day even for five minutes! Thank you again for the great advice and I wish you lived closer:)! Ever think of teaching online…

  3. I’m taking the challenge! Did 45 minutes with Suhaila. Lots of challenges this year. But it’s the year I turn 40, so I plan to show that 40 ROCKS! I have my first triathlon and either a half-marathon or marathon in the works, too! Its going to be a busy 2011!!
